Art Therapy for Adults
Art therapy for adults is similar to Art Therapy for children in many ways, but it is equally beneficial. The primary aim is to explore your inner self and express your emotions using creative materials. In addition to creating art, these sessions often include talk therapy, or psychotherapy. This dual approach allows you to physically engage with your thoughts and feelings, whether that means tearing up a drawing, reworking it, burying it, or transforming it into something new.
An art therapist will guide you through reflecting on your artwork, asking insightful questions, helping you learn more about yourself, and developing strategies to handle similar issues in the future.
Art therapy is about the process, not the final product.

You do not need to be a good artist to engage in the art therapy what's important is the therapeutic process, creating a mark on the page is meaningful.
